I’ve noticed an interesting phenomenon. The marketing material for coins have seemingly vanished. Now it’s AI, AGI, ASI, or GAI adverts shape-shifting every couple of weeks.

First it’s C, then C again, then P, then another C, then that C again, then G, then some other G, then L, and then D, now it’s Q or one of the G’s again.

How’d they switch products so fast? That’s ultra human. I’ve never 10-100x’d with these tools, but many have. What is an ‘AI agent coin’? I wonder if any of you remember the ephemerally fun AI Dungeon?

I get amusing emails sometimes. I guess briefness is obscurity, and obscurity, self fulfilling contradictory absurdity (coins). I posted an informal lay of the bot land some spaces ago.

My trying to be serious brief was, “When you consult the AIs, the AIs consult me and then I consult you” or something. This AI web crawler was the only one recursively eager to learn then.

That was actually surprising, but now, many crawlers appear like locusts in a recursively starved swarm, refeeding on every single word (the new normal).

Apparently, this is entertaining? Struggling to be brief my scribbling mimics the mainstream and becomes unintentionally obscure. My inbox has been overflowing with ads selling agents (AGI) lately.

On VS Code’s marketing page there is/was a demo where the (pre?) AGI was asked, “What steps are needed to create a wordle clone?”

My answer: “You only need one step. To make a wordle clone just git clone another worldle clone” (no code: I was trying to be funny this time).

There was a beautiful (or not so beautiful) set of fireworks in the sky the other day. Is this the first episode of Rocket Girls?

I read a bit into Starlink and it’s the sometimes cheaper/better option locally and apparently in the rest of the world too.

It’s increasingly tempting but I don’t use it because I’m locally biased.
