Turns out (rather gleefully) that I was proven wrong. Spooky competition did its thing and now I have two fiber links. One is symmetrical.

I think ISPs should compete more strategically with Starlink by looking into WISPs (fixed wireless + WiGig). Many of the out islands have limited to no banking. At home, everyone’s best friends with Starlink.
