AI but which AI? GPT? ChatGPT? LLM? Just the model? Tooling? Images? Diffusion, GANs, VAEs? Autoregression? What? Using chatbots? Agents? Harnesses? Voices? Runtimes? So AI is amazing, but which AI dang it? The product, the technology, or the industry? The market or the consumers? NLP? Deep learning? Protein folding? Cameras? Drones? Wait. AI automation? Automation is amazing! Hold on. What is this brilliant use of contextual magic? Fool! You’re out of time!

I’ve been asked a lot about predictions lately. Unfortunately, predictions are not my thing. I’d say, pay attention to what party insiders are saying (good luck).

Successful prediction is knowledge unevenly distributed, forcefully distributed (or something like that).

I got reminded of a really old post on browsers too and I hope it doesn’t hold up. I’d rather the tokens be fungible and not non-fungible (hoho).

It’s been a while since I’ve closely watched the news. You know, in politics it’s not so much who’s right and who’s wrong, but moreso another pair of questions. Why is there a fight, and why now? I’m an advocate of the most controversial political opinion. Politics should be boring.

I saw this riddle in a local newspaper the other day:

‘The visitors had missed their turn, doubled back, but “forgot” to stay on the right side of the road.’
