The [Syncthing](https://docs.syncthing.net/intro/gui.html) developers have added
support for synchronizing
[ownership](https://docs.syncthing.net/advanced/folder-sync-ownership.html) and
[extended attributes](https://docs.syncthing.net/advanced/folder-sync-xattrs.html).
If enabled, root might be needed and the bidirectional sensitivity/conditions for
file conflicts might increase dramatically. From perusing the
[commits](https://github.com/syncthing/syncthing/commits/main), versions after
`1.22.1` should stabilize these features.
