Looking at the scope of society and human affairs, you can say that there's no
end to the clever ways people and institutions persuade you to give up a subset
of your rights. The {{< abbr GPL "GNU General Public License" >}} license, on
first read, made me chuckle because whoever wrote it got to that point real
quick.
