It turns out that I'm not that smart. Supposedly, if you can make links (or
citations) of sufficient fidelity (and precision), then you may have outed
yourself out (as a human). And here I thought I was doing an excellent job
pretending to be a bot.

At the peak of my fame, I had 500,000+ bots following in my wake [spoofing](/tdro/messages/crawl/#tdro-messages-crawl)
everything underneath the sun. Offering up
[jason](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JSON) as a sacrifice was not enough.
