The
[miracle man](https://arachnoid.com/fire_your_stockbroker/index.html#Miracle_Man__The_Scam)
section of
[this article](https://arachnoid.com/fire_your_stockbroker/index.html) is
nostalgic. The simplicity of scamming (dividing email lists by two recursively)
reminded me somewhat of how I was taught to think about the underlying
simplicity of critical thinking, which apparently is a meme nowadays.
